Gratitude, Rest, and a Fond Farewell

As we close out a challenging year, we’re taking a moment to reflect on what this collective hive has made possible. Thanks to our incredible community of funders and grantee partners, this year we saw more progress than we could have imagined — communities coming together to protect one another, polluting facilities prevented from being built, and more and more families able to access the clean, affordable, reliable energy they deserve.

This time of year also invites rest. In the spirit of our shared values of collective care and sustainability, Hive Fund will be taking an extended winter break over the next few weeks. Our last day of work will be Friday, December 19, as our team pauses to care for ourselves and be with loved ones. We look forward to reconnecting after we return on January 12, 2026.

We’re also saying a heartfelt goodbye to Erin Rogers, who is wrapping up her time as Hive Fund co-director this week. Read a special love letter from Erin to the entire Hive Fund community.

As we head into the holidays, we’re holding deep appreciation for the care, courage, and collaboration that define this community. May the weeks ahead bring rest, joy, and moments of celebration with those you love.

With gratitude and warm wishes,
Hive Fund
