Webinar: Funding Multiracial and Multi-Solving Climate Justice Ecosystems in Texas and the Gulf South.
Enmeshed problems require connected solutions. Nowhere is this more true than the Gulf South, where pollution and injustice are high, and philanthropic funding is low.
Join the Hive Fund for an interactive exploration of how multiracial, multipronged, multi-solving approaches are being used in oil and gas country in Texas, and how they can inform funding strategies across the region.
We'll preview the Hive Fund's participatory grantmaking strategy across the Gulf South region and hear from organizational leaders in Texas who are using different tactics at local, state, national, and international levels to not only stop individual permits and plants from being built, but to also build the sustained political power and public opinion needed to transition to a cleaner, healthier, and more just economy at scale and speed. These dynamic women will speak to their work within ecosystems of policy advocacy, civic engagement, narrative-shifting communications, and other tactics that are helping them achieve progress. Moderated by Kandace Vallejo, the Hive Fund's Gulf South Program Officer.
